CLIENT: The Jewish Education Project

Problem

How do you sell the vision of an agency that strengthens the educational approaches of schools and congregations? On top of that, the organization has been around for 130 years but wants to showcase its innovation.

Solution

Instead of merely promoting specific programs, we posed the bigger question that would inspire donors: What can education be in the future? We presented The Jewish Education Project as the organization that is helping institutions to redefine what Jewish education can be for the next generation of students.

As an example of successful nonprofit brochure design, the piece features angled cuts to lend a unique look and short folds to entire readers to open the brochure and yet was designed to fit efficiently on a printing press to be cost-effective piece.

Photography credits belong to Jason Gardner Photography who ably handled last minute photo shoots with the students.

Results

The brochure successfully distinguishes The Jewish Education Project from others educational organizations and stakes a leadership position in the sector. As evidence that a legacy organization can inspire innovation, The Jewish Education Project was named one of Slingshot’s top 50 innovative organizations.
